Centre advertises for the following positions:

 

1. Two (2) Junior Research Fellows for three years for the DST funded projects under the following P.I.’s:

(a)   Project title: “Neuro-Cognitive mechanisms of Conflict adaptation for affective control: A multimodal Investigation”

P.I. Dr. Bhoomika R. Kar

(b)  Project title: “Effects of meditation on scope of attention”

P.I.: Prof. Narayanan Srinivasan

 

2.   One (1) Junior Research Fellow / Research Assistant for two months for ICSSR funded project under P.I.: Prof. Narayanan Srinivasan.

3.     One (1) Junior Research Fellow and One (1) Part-time Programmer for Unilever R & D (Vlaardingen, The Netherlands) funded project for a period of one year.

P.I.: Dr. Chandrasekhar Pammi

Qualifications:

 

1.   For Sl. No. 1, applicants should preferably have a Master Degree in Cognitive Science or interfacing disciplines like Psychology and Neuroscience with specialization in Cognitive Psychology/Cognitive Neuroscience.

2.   For Sl. No. 2, applications should preferably have a Master Degree in Cognitive Science or interfacing with strong fundamentals in Foundational Issues in Cognitive Science

3.   For Sl. No. 3, applicants for “JRF” should have a Master Degree in Cognitive Science, Engineering, Science, Management or related disciplines like Psychology, economics with some experience in designing computer-based behavioural experiments.

Applicants for “Part-time Programmer” should have an Engineering/ Masters degree in Computer Science or Cognitive Science or related disciplines with independent capability to program in C/Matlab.

Last date for submission of application is August 30, 2011 and Interview will be held in Allahabad most likely in the first two weeks of September.
